A special kind of nature experience. Whether winter or summer, the Dachstein is always the top destination.
The Ramsau high plateau is approx. 18 km long and 3 km wide on the southern slopes of the Hohe Dachstein. In the alpine region, at an altitude of up to 1,900 m, you can hike on recreational trails or climb steeply to the vertical rock faces of the Dachstein south walls.
The car park at the valley station of the cable car is also an ideal starting point for hikes to the alpine pastures. From the Hunerkogel mountain station over the glacier to the summit of the High Dachstein, you are in alpine terrain with all its fascination.
Special highlights: Skywalk, suspension bridge, staircase to nowhere and ice palace.
In winter, a wonderful small ski area opens up at 2,700m above sea level. Glide over gentle slopes entirely on natural snow.
