After a bequest was found in 1995 that proves without a doubt that Joseph Mohr wrote the lyrics to the world-famous Christmas carol "Silent Night, Holy Night" in Mariapfarr in 1816, a documentation on Joseph Mohr and his carol was added to the Parish and Pilgrimage Museum in Mariapfarr.
